Each year Steel City Casino pledges to support two good charitable events. This year we have supported the charities Help for Heroes and Comrades of Children Overseas, helping to raise thousands of pounds for good causes. On the 5th December 2009 Steel City Casino supplied casino entertainment for COCO’s Red Ribbon Ball at the Discovery Museum in Newcastle Upon Tyne. COCO is a registered children’s charity working on closely monitored education and healthcare initiatives that make a big difference to the lives of children living in poverty throughout the developing world.

We are also supporting Help for Heroes at various events in 2010 in both Sheffield and York. Help for Heroes was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry in October 2007 out of a desire to help the wounded Servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq.
